In March 2005, I asked 30 people in urban Detroit and suburban Dearborn, Michigan the same question posed by this website. You can read some of their responses as captioned Polaroids and see some of the physical proof they brought to the interviews in a second series of Polaroids. A video made from the interview footage was exhibited from May to October of 2005 in Dearborn's Arab American National Museum, and from September to October of 2005 in New York at PS122.
